Who We Are

Hampton Renaissance is a literary magazine run by students, for students. We at Hampton Renaissance, want to be able to give students a platform that is inclusive and open-minded and unrestricting. We value new, fresh voices from students and faculty alike. Do you have something to say? Share it with us!

We are seeking all different styles of written, visual, and mixed-media artwork from Hampton University community members. We want poetry, prose, op-eds, political cartoons, photography, digital and mixed-media artwork, and feature stories on black culture, black experiences, and black politics. We want vulnerability and emotion and empowerment.
